Cal. 357 Maximum. S# 600-08835. Bbl. 10 1/2" with screw-attached hooked-style ramped base target blade; factory adjustable rear on cylinder frame. Mfg. 1984 (1982–1984, approx. 16,000 units) as BNM10, based on an elongated Super Blackhawk frame. All steel with a Super Blackhawk Dragoon-style grip frame, except for the longer black anodized alloy ejector housing. Developed primarily for handgun silhouette competition as the increased power of its 38-caliber bullet was capable of solidly toppling the metal targets; also effective as a hunting handgun. The perceived problem of the barrel / cylinder gap gasses cutting the top strap led to its discontinuation. Also offered are 7 1/2" barrels for ease of carrying during hunting. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original box in good condition with edge scuffs plus pulled finish by tape from end opposite label plus original paperwork. CONDITION: very slight thinning of finish at muzzle plus cylinder turn line, but near excellent overall, including bore and grips. Very minimal evidence of firing. (23-6205/NW). MODERN. $650-900.
