Cal. 22 LR / 22 Mag. S# 63-09427. Bbl. 6 1/2" with screw attached ramped serrated blade sight; frame mounted adjustable rear. Mfg. 1974 (1973 to date) without "warning marks" on barrel. Ruger website correctly states shipped 2016, as it was sold through a Ruger benefit auction. Oiled walnut grips with silver eagle medallions. Both cylinders are fluted and LR cylinder has firing pin groove. LR cylinder (1.618" OA length) numbered 167, and Mag. cylinder (1.620" OA length) is not numbered. Finish has higher than normal gloss on frame and barrel, but normal on cylinders. Alloy ejector housing appears duller than normal, as does grip frame. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: near excellent original matching numbered red 1-piece hinged box with extra label over original end info, indicating Catalog NR-6 and Model 00622. Purple anodized Ruger tag labeled "Southport Legal Archive", plus its cut cable tie. Manual dated 2-74 and complete guarantee card. Unchecked white cylinder box with broken tab (included) of end flap, plus red felt bag. Outer shipping box labeled to CO FFL as result of Ruger benefit auction. Factory letter signed by CEO Michael Fifer supporting above info and referring to it as "New Model Super Single-Six". CONDITION: frame has factory quality refinish with extra polish. Missing all but front screw to retain grip frame; screws should be replaced before use or further cycling. Interior of frame is blued where it is normally in the white from cylinder fitting. Each end of both cylinders are also blued rather than in the white. Near excellent bore and grips. Aspect of non matching cylinders should be gunsmith checked, or it should be returned to the factory for properly fitted cylinders. (23-6197/NW). MODERN. $200-400.
