Cal. 22 LR. S# 23899. Bbl. 4" with fluted blade sight; frame notched rear sight. Mfg. 1963 (1958-1970) with early features: straight cross pin for firing pin recoil plate, small 1/16" serial numbers, steel ejector rod housing, rosin impregnated rosewood grips conspicuously without medallions (only Ruger revolver model ever to be without medallions), and non capped base pin latch. No caliber designation on the firearm and no "INC." in the barrel address; "BEARCAT" roll marked, 6 rd. unfluted cylinder. Anodized alloy frame with brass toned, matching numbered, anodized alloy trigger guard; design influenced by Model 1858 Remington. Has not had a factory safety update performed. CONDITION: all aspects are near excellent, with new, unfired appearance; top collector grade, needing only a box. (24-1934/NW). CURIO. $450-600.
