Cal. 308 Win. S# 680-01491. Bbl. 17 1/4" (19" including brake) with protected blade front sight and ghost ring at rear of receiver. Mfg. 2011 as M77-GS with Model number 06803. Design highly influenced by Col. Jeff Cooper's writings and his famous Gunsite Academy firearms training school. First company to follow the Gunsite idea was Steyr, followed by the always innovative Ruger. Specs listed by Ruger state 16.1" barrel (measures 17 1/4") threaded 5/8"-24 for its muzzle brake or accessories. Checkered black laminated stock with 2 reinforcement bolts, sling studs and soft recoil pad having multiple LOP's possible using furnished 1/2" spacers. Designed as compact, all-purpose, and fast handling hunting rifle having Picatinny rail at rear of barrel for use of long eye relief scout scopes to further enhance both eyes open shooting. Receiver also factory machined for Ruger scope rings as with all Model 77 Mark II rifles. Finished in hunter friendly matte blued finish having glass reinforced Nylon trigger guard assembly. As close as possible to an all purpose rifle. MAGS: 1 factory Accuracy International style 10 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching numbered box and packaging to include 1" Ruger scope rings.
