Cal. 22 LR. S# 11-52573. Bbl. 7" Volquartsen "Deluxe Target" marked bull barrel of .990" diameter including its integral 6 port muzzle brake. Front Patridge sight dovetailed into barrel aligned with bore plus Bo-Mar adjustable rear sight on receiver that is also grooved for scope mounting in the manner of many .22 rifles. Mfg. 1972 (1951-1982) originally as Ruger's target version of their Standard Auto pistol. Enhanced by Volquartsen to become a superior target pistol. Finish appears to be Cerakote or baking lacquer. Noticeably muzzle heavy as desired by target shooters. Front of triggerguard has small Allen headed screw for sear engagement adjustment plus Volquartsen wide stainless target trigger has provision for over travel adjustment. Ruger checkered RH thumbrest target grips with black eagle medallion (missing black eagle paint). Great target pistol by famed company that is known for its accuracy enhancements and parts. MAGS: 1 factory 10 rd. with push button base. CONDITION: grips have noticeable hand wear plus distinct thinning of finish on grip straps. Light marks within mounting grooves of receiver. Balance of pistol is near excellent including bore. (26-1236/NW). MODERN. $300-500.
