SIDE-FOLDING WIRE BUTTSTOCK. Cal. 223. S# 181-48985. Bbl. 16". Mini-14 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Ruger in 1979. Left side of receiver is marked with the S# and Ruger's mfg. information, with "RUGER/ MINI-14/ CAL..223" marked over the top of the receiver at the rear. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Aftermarket plain wood stock with wood pistol grip and blued side-folding wire buttstock. Ventilated black polymer handguard. Aftermarket flash hider and front sight assembly with black enamel finished aperture rear sight. Mag. is not present. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finishes, exhibiting a few superficial handling marks, and some light wear on the right side of the receiver from cycling of the action. Wire buttstock exhibits small scattered spots of oxidation and no longer retains its recoil pad. Bright bore, exhibiting a few scattered spots of dark pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout.
