DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 664-11901. Bbl. 4 1/4" stainless. Mfg. 2005 (2004-2012) and shipped June 24, 2011 as the result of a Ruger benefit auction sale; the price realized was $2,082.29. Stainless manual safety Model 06644 with deep-relief oak leaves and acorns on the slide, with matte backgrounds and line borders. Engraving on all of each side of the slide (except the flat areas) plus the rear and section of the top between the ejection port and front sight. Early example with two line slide marking that has "SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.". Three-dot blued dovetailed sight set; windage adjustable rear secured by set screw. There is no accessory rail on the dust cover. MAGS: 1 factory stainless 8 rd. with push-button plastic base. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: generic yellow factory box with white address style label having handwritten info; edge of box near end is damaged from pistol movement inside. A near-excellent glass-topped (etched with the eagle logo) walnut display case with key has a maroon velvet interior; a pillow section (filled with polymer beads) is in the base for the pistol display. Original factory auction invoice plus 6/10 dated manual. Pistol is likely used for factory display as the firing pin assembly is missing to make it safe for public handling. CONDITION: missing firing pin assembly as stated. All other aspects are near excellent, including bore; appears unfired. (23-6072/NW). MODERN. $700-1,000.
