Cal. 45-70. S# 131-42964. Bbl. 24" heavy target bbl. with swivel band plus scope target blocks at front and rear. Mfg. 1978 as 100 year Lyman commemorative additionally numbered on bottom front of receiver with "L-78-0407X". Checkered walnut stock set having Alex Henry forend, red pad, steel grip cap and sling stud on buttstock that has especially fine figure on right side. Both sides of receiver photo engraved to include Lyman running deer and sight plus "CENTENNIAL EDITION II". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: green velvet lined display case with provision for rifle, scope and accessories; only accessories included are the Lyman Journal and matching 34" long 4X target scope marked "SER No." but with no number. Crosswire reticle, target mounts and proper screw in lens caps. Very light marks by mount area of scope; all other aspects near excellent including optics. Case has some light marks on top plus tight 20" weather crack; balance near excellent. CONDITION: top of rear scope base has been stoned for better fit to scope mount and 1 screw in front base is a replacement; all other aspects near excellent including bore. (22-5578/NW).
