SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. 3". SN. 400-13507. Bbls. 26" vent rib w open sides ribs. Fixed skeet & skeet chokes. Brass front bead. Stainless steel action w/ ejectors & single selective trigger. Forearm & capped pistol grip stock of satin finished walnut have cut checkering. LOP. 14 1/8" over Ruger red pad. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Sturm, Ruger & Company letter stating the following information, "Our records indicate the Ruger Red Label Shotgun with serial number 400-13507 was produced in February 1985 in our Newport, New Hampshire facility. / The shotgun is designated as a model KRL-2026-1/51 and is chambered in 20 Gauge (skeet & skeet). It was shipped to Rody's Gun Shop in Newport, NH in February 1985. This is a special edition 1 of 51. Blued 26" barrels, stainless steel receiver and a walnut pistol grip stock". Also includes a 2 page letter of provenance signed by Tom Ruger, "The following is a list of 51 serial numbers which represents the first preproduction experimental group of .20 gauge stainless steel Over and Under shotguns. / These were originally produced and boxed in 1979. In January of 1985, a decision was made by the management of Sturm, Ruger & Company to sell these units to employees and friends of the company.". Original box containing owners manual.
