Cal. 11mm Berdan. S# 31023. Bbl. 32 1/2". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1500 Arshins. Matching numbers on bolt parts, right side of butt stock, buttplate & bbl. Left side of receiver is numbered "375". Top of receiver has Imperial Russian eagle. Bbl. has 1882 date & Tula Cyrillic markings. Many markings have added white highlight. Metal has a silvery-gray appearance. Hardwood stock with strong 1882 dated cartouche on right side of butt & bottom mounted sling swivels. Cleaning rod present. Bands are loose. CONDITION: cleaned stock shows scattered staining, dings & handling marks. Metal is proud of wood in spots. Metal otherwise is a silvery-gray cleaned color with some old touch up finish, scattered edge wear, dings, oxidation & some pitting. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
