Cal. 357 Mag. S# K684245. Bbl. 2 1/2" pinned nickel w/ Baughman red insert sight & corresponding blued white outlined Micrometer rear. Shipped June 21, 1966 (1955-1999) to Walter F. Stevens Jr Co. of Franklin, OH w/ features described herein; -1 suffix of model number began 1959, -2 started 1961 & 2 1/2" models began 1966 as standard on rnd. butt frame. By references & features, this should be 19-2 but yoke area clearly "19" w/ out trace of dash. Recessed nickeled cyl. having blued extractor & ejector rod. Two toned variation called "Pinto" by collectors; not a S&W designation. Blued rnd. butt frame having smooth Magna grips of dark Goncalo Alves w/ nickeled medallions. .380" Checkered hammer spur & .400" smooth combat trigger; both case colored. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: good to very good blue 2 piece box having white end label w/ different S#, marked "SMT" for trigger, "BN" as finish, bbl. of "2 1/2" & front sight as "RR" w/ "WO" box checked. Second preprinted end label white grease pencil marked "2 1/2" plus "NIC" written before pre printed "BLUE". All paperwork & cleaning kit. Factory letter supporting previous information plus copy of original invoice. CONDITION: overall near excellent appearance w/ extremely faint cyl. turn line from functioning; appears unfired having near excellent bore & grips. PPROVENANCE: Estate collection of Fred Inganamort.
