Cal. 22 LR. S# B12723. Bbl. 2 1/2". Mfg. 1970-1974. A compact 5 shot mag. fed rimfire pistol. A total production of 64,938 were mfg. of which approx. 6,600 were in nickel. Drift adj. sights, satin finish on top of slide while the remainder is polished. White faux pearl checkered plastic grips. The Model 61-2 was the 2nd revision incorporating 1st a mag. safety & 2nd the addition of a bbl. nut. This design utilizes the bbl. mounted below the slide which creates a more linear recoil impulse reducing muzzle rise. MAGS: 1 - 5 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: light blue factory cardboard box w/ steel corners, cleaning kit & paperwork as well as blue S&W branded gun pouch. CONDITION: original finish is complete & consistent w/ no apparent blemishing aside from a minute amount of thinning on left side at muzzle. Left grip has a sm. crack that is invisible to the touch on the left top side at alignment pin. Bore is bright. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand.
