Cal. 38 Spl. S# 50415. Bbl. 5" having integral 1/2 moon blade sight; square notched frame rear sight. Patent dates on top of barrel, caliber marking on right and S&W name on left. Mfg. 1937 (1930-1941) with matching numbered cylinder, barrel, frame and ejector. Post manufacture chrome plating of all parts and fitted with simulated black pearl grips. CONDITION: very good appearance with cylinder turn line. Slight tightness as hammer goes into frame due to build up of chrome plating. Missing detent to help keep yoke open during loading / unloading. Replacement strain screw with enlarged recess for screw head. Near excellent bore and grips.
