Cal. 320 S&W. S# 474. Bbl. 16", round with rib. Blade front sight with folding leaf rear sight. Top-break rifle based on the No. 3 single-action revolver. Six-shot fluted cyl with case-colored hammer, trigger, and trigger guard. Checkered hard rubber grips and forearm with Smith & Wesson monograms. Detachable walnut shoulder stock with checkered hard rubber buttplate. Total production of 977 mfg. 1879-1887. CONDITION: very good, retaining over 80% of the lightly faded blue, showing spots of freckling. Hard rubber grips and forearms show light wear. Walnut shoulder stock shows scattered scratches and marks. Good mechanics. Bore retains strong rifling. (01-24584/DS). ANTIQUE. $12,000-18,000.
