FOX GUN CO PHILA. PA. U.S.A." and "CHROMOX FLUID STEEL". Barrel flat is stamped with Fox proof, grade and S#. Boxlock action has double locking lugs at top of barrel and is made without a safety. Action is engraved with about 80% coverage simple scroll. "FOX" is engraved on each side. S# is on blued trigger guard tang. Nicely marbled and figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 13-3/4" over red Old English pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip and side panels are checkered.
