Cal. 11 x 60 R. S# 35669. Bbl. 35". All visible numbers match. Receiver marked on right rail "SP. & SR. Suhl." Top of receiver & bbl. marked w/ G & inverted "L". Rifle has later pattern ladder rear sight graduated to 1600m w/ additional folding leaf. Stud type front sight. Falling block action resembles the Martini. Block is lowered by pushing the front lever in trigger guard & raised by pulling the "hammer spur" rearward & thereby cocking the rifle. Bbl. has bayonet lug on right side. Cleaning rod is present. 3 Bbl. bands. Bottom swivels. Buttplate is marked at heel "3JR" "1". Walnut stock. CONDITION: stock has attractive appearance w/ professional restorative finish & a very slight loss of wood in inletted areas. Metal is turning gray in patina w/ notable blue on bbl. bands & receiver. Upper receiver parts & buttplate are finished bright. Trigger & opening lever show traces of straw color. Very good, shiny bore. (01-19358/RW). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,200.
