Both locking screws are missing. Dull Soviet arsenal-rework blue finish. Laminated stock set with faint German markings and left side sling provisions. Cleaning rod is present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: cof 43 coded S84/98 bayonet with matching numbered scabbard. Metal of bayonet and scabbard show scattered fading to gray and oxidation. Handles show a few notable gouges. CONDITION: stock set appears mostly cleaned of Soviet rework finish with scattered dings and handling marks. Metal retains 95% of its dull arsenal-rework blue with some light scratches and edge wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Bore is mostly bright with some frosting but strong rifling. PROVENANCE: from the estate collection of Charles Wagner. (24-4620/MJC). CURIO. $500-800.
