Cal. 22. S# 1109. Bbl. 3". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on grip frame & bbl. Scarce Deringer 22 Pocket Revolver. Revolver appears to be first model with oct. bbl., unfluted cyl. & 1873 Patent date on bbl. Only an estimated 6900 total Deringer revolvers made with about 400 of the first model. 7-shot cyl. Nickel finish. Smooth hardwood grips. CONDITION: grips have older added finish with scattered finish wear, some light chipping, dings & handling marks. Metal retains 93% nickel with scattered flaking, some dings on top strap, handling marks, scratches & oxidation Cyl. does not turn when hammer is cocked & will require attention to fix. Bore shows pitting along its length but good rifling. (01-28110/MJC). ANTIQUE. $700-900.
