Breech block is marked "C.E. BILLINGS / PATENT NOV. 23 1878". Steel-tipped walnut forearm & nicely grained straight grip stock w/ steel shotgun buttplate. UNATTCHED ACCESORIES: photo copied info about firearms inventor Charles Ethan Billings and his reverse trapdoor design. CONDITION: bbl. has 80% lightly faded blue. Action retains 80% nickel.
