1337 SCARCE EARLY GERMAN G24T BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

Cal. 8x57 (8mm Mauser). S# 2822. Bbl. 23 1/4". Blade front sight w/ VZ24 style protective hood. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Matching numbers on stock & receiver. Bolt is an early G24T replacement of early production series & numbered "2364/a". Underside of bolt also marked w/ circled "Z" & L6. Handguard is an earlier style & numbered "7". Early model of the G24T bolt action rifle built by Brunn II in Czechoslovakia under German occupation. Rifle shows a mix of VZ24 & G24T features. Bolt will close on empty mag unlike later German rifles. Receiver top is unmarked. Right side of receiver has two eagle "607" Waffenamts. Left side of receiver has German eagle & serial number. Side rail has Brno legend. Receiver markings also have added white paint to enhance them. Front of trigger guard has "GERMANY" pre-68 import marking. Walnut stock set w/ bottom mounted sling swivels & front left side sling swivel only. Wrist swivel hole is plugged. Right side of butt has strong eagle "H" (Heer/Army) marking & "WaA607" Waffenamts. Underside of wrist & bottom of butt also have eagle "607" Waffenamts. Cleaning rod present. CONDITION: stock set has a small crack on handguard ahead of rear sight, scattered dings, scratches & handling wear. Metal retains 50% original blue w/ scattered edge wear, fading & thinning.
