TT-30 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH ACCESSORIES. Cal. 30 Tokarev. S# 5335. Bbl. 4 3/8". TT-30 Tokarev semi-automatic pistol mfg. at the Tula arsenal in 1934. The top of the slide is marked with the S# "5335", followed by the year of mfg. "1934", which is repeated on the left side of the frame, with the addition of a Tula star proof. Small parts exhibit numerous Russian arsenal proofs. Metal components exhibit what appears to be an arsenal reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved black synthetic grips, marked with a star and "CCCP" at the center of the panels. Right grip shows 4 small circular sections, which are from the grip mold. Fixed blade front sight, with dovetailed U-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, bbl. and hammer pack. MAGS: 1 matching 8-rd. and 4 non-matching Russian 8-rd. mags. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Soviet pattern brown leather holster, 3-cell brown leather mag. pouch, as well as a semi-rubberized canvas belt. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful of their blue finish, showing some spots of light edge wear, as well as some scattered spots of light pitting beneath the finish. Relatively bright bore, exhibiting consistent light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Grips show some minor wear and superficial handling marks, but otherwise are very good overall. Leather holster and mag. pouch remain malleable, showing mild wear and some scattered marks from handling and storage. Upper cleaning rod loop on holster is torn. Belt is very good overall. A very attractive example of a Pre-War Soviet TT-30 semi-automatic pistol. (25-3523/MLW). CURIO. $3,000-5,000.
