Mentioned on page 760 of "US MILTIARY HOLSTERS & RELATED ACCOUTREMENTS" by Edward Scott Meadows, "Mills Horizontal Pistol Belt (P) - This scarce belt was designed for use with the Model 1911 pistol and features two horizontal pockets, one on each side of the closure, for M1911 pistol magazines. There are four smaller pockets, two on each side, for carrying loose rounds." This olive drab fabric woven belt has US Army Eagle snaps. CONDITION: the belt is in very good condition retaining considerable "Mills Bronze" finish on snaps & closures. Stitching is tight & fabric shows scattered light fraying.
