Bbl. 5". 1 of only approx. 250 semi-automatic pistols chambered in .30 Carbine mfg. by Kimball Arms Co. before production terminated and the company went bankrupt. The left side of the frame is marked with a faint, mostly illegible, "J. KIMBALL ARMS CO./ DETROIT, MICH. U.S.A.", with the S# "135" marked on the right. Left side of the slide is marked "30 CAL. CARBINE". Slide and frame weight exhibit a blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips. Fixed ramped blade front sight, with fixed square notch rear sight. MAGS: 1 7-rd. CONDITION: slide and weight retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some wear and scattered superficial handling marks overall. Frame, trigger, and bbl. exhibit a gray patina, with scattered spots of oxidation and age related discoloration present overall. Bright bore, exhibiting light to mild pitting, while retaining strong 2-groove rifling throughout. Mag. exhibits scattered areas of surface oxidation. Lids of boxes exhibit a red ink stamped "REPACKED E.C. 9-44".CONDITION: frame exhibits a dark gray patina, with areas of dark oxidation present overall. Remaining metal components have been cleaned and are in-the-white, exhibiting a gray patina, with scattered spots of surface oxidation and age related discoloration, as well as some scattered superficial handling marks. Bright bore, exhibiting some light pitting, while retaining well defined 2-groove rifling throughout. Mag. exhibits a brown patina, with scattered areas of dark oxidation and pitting overall. Grips show some smoothing, as well as some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable.
