Cal. .410 2-1/2" chambers. S# 218893. It is estimated that fewer then 500 .410 V grade guns were made; most had 26" barrels as is the case with this gun. Rib is marked with usual Parker Meriden CT address and "VULCAN STEEL". All correct markings are on watertable and lumps, rear lump stamped "410" and frame size "000". Small size Parker action with all correct markings on watertable features automatic safety and double triggers. Action is engraved in usual V style with wiggle borders. "Parker Bros" is on each side. SN is on trigger guard tang. Round knob pistol grip buttstock of plain American walnut measures 14-1/8" over Hawkins pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip and a vacant silver oval is on toeline replacing the ususal shield. Matching splinter forend has usual Parker release and steel tip. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter at muzzles: L .395 (Mod?). R .395 (Mod?). STOCK: DAH: 2-13/16". DAC: 1-3/4". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/8". WEIGHT: 5lb. 7.5oz. CONDITION: good. Barrels retaining perhaps 40% of what appears to be original blue with light freckling and browning overall. Action has traces of case hardening color where protected but is mostly pewter gray with some brown staining. Stocks with nearly all of an oil refinish over a good number of marks and dings. Checkering recut. Bores are bright and shiny with a few minor pits observed in right barrel. Action is tight, mechanically good. (23-1400/MGM). C&R $10,000-15,000.
