REVOLVER. Cal. 32 Winchester (32-20). S# 3203. Bbl. uncommon 5" with pinned front sight blade; frame mounted adjustable rear. Mfg. 1899-1902 from serial number 1 to 5311 as first model; significant premium for target model. Matching numbers on frame, cylinder and barrel. Monogrammed checkered hard rubber grips numbered 115261 on right plus unmarked on left; each has 3 "kill notches" at bottoms. Butt has 5 pointed rework star plus left side of frontstrap rework dated "5.17"; has "2" and larger sized "8" near it at top side of frontstrap. Case colored checkered hammer and smooth faced trigger. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: modern S&W 1 piece box with fabricated label representing this revolver. CONDITION: good general appearance with patina, high edge thinning, peppery oxidation plus turn line on cylinder. Moderately hand worn grips. Slightly out of time. Fair, pitted bore plus pitting on cylinder face. PROVENANCE: From the Lifelong Collection of George Staden S&W Member #3451. (25-55/NW). CURIO. $650-900.
