Cal. 250-3000. S# 11583. Bbl. 24" with integral base at muzzle holding brass bead shaped blade sight; no provision on barrel for rear sight as it has a Savage supplied Lyman 54 receiver sight attached to rear of bolt. Mfg. 1926-1931 as an uncommon special model designated 1920-1926 that is even more desirable in its 250-3000 caliber; receiver marked "MODEL 20". Regular Model 1920's made 1920-1931 with barrel sights and 22" or 24" barrel. Checkered walnut stock having schnable forend, sling eyes and Savage marked smooth metal buttplate. Knurled cocking knob on bolt and tang safety. CONDITION: good overall with many handling marks and some extra finish added to stock; original metal finish. Near excellent, bright shiny bore.
