MATCH RIFLE Cal. 7.62 NATO. S# 474843. Bbl. 24". Barrel marked "7.62" "SA " "SA 11010457 SPL" "6-65" and "P" with punch mark. Barrel is marked on the right front with what appears "A ?? Q". The receiver produced in 1942. Receiver marked on right front leg "LAC 10-68"in electro-pencil. Aperture rear sight. Sight base is marked "NM/2A". 1/2 minute aperture marked "NM". Windage knob marked "NM". Blade front sight marked"NM .062". Bolt marked "SA". Operating rod marked "NM" plus " 7790722-SA". Gas cylinder marked "NM" at rear. "High hump" gas cylinder lock screw. Trigger housing and parts marked "SA". Sear area shows signs of hand fitting. Steel spacer block in magazine marked "C". Walnut stock set. Buttstock marked with three star Defense Acceptance Eagle. Circle "P" proof under grip. Stock has bedding job. Stock set has original finish with added gloss leaving legible markings. Inside of barrel channel is unmarked. Rear handguard has been shortened slightly in front of receiver ring. Front handguard has been bedded tightly front and rear but screws were not used. Tan leather M1907 style sling marked " 2 81". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cleaning rod in butt. CONDITION: Stock set has light wear and scattered small handling marks. Metal retains a large percentage of original Parkerized finish with very light wear. Very good shiny bore with sharp lands. (22-5707/RW). CURIO. $2000-3000.
