Lot consists of 14 individual plate maps of varying sizes numbered 1 - 14, with some maps being marked "Reproduced at General Service Schools, Fort Leavenworth, KAS. 1923". Maps are marked with operation information on the exteriors, including "GERMAN DEFENSIVE ORGANIZATION/ AT ST. MIHIEL", "ST. MIHIEL OFFENSIVE/ SEPT 12-16, 1918" "MEUSE - ARGONNE OFFENSIVE/ FIRST OPERATION/ 1ST & 2ND PHASES/ SEPT 26 - OCT 6, 1918", "SECRET OPERATION MAP No. 16/ To accompany report of FIRST ARMY AEF", among others. Maps are all properly folded and housed within a period green case. CONDITION: maps are very good overall, exhibiting appropriate age related yellowing, with some maps showing some tearing at creases.
