This set of two finely crafted chairs, once retailed by Lewis Drake & Associates, is made of rosewood showing superb grain and figuring. The chairs measure approx. 31 1/4" in height and 21 1/2" in depth. The design of these newly crafted chairs dates to the 1860s when the freshly introduced game of croquet was all the rage in England. The chairs fold in an interesting manner to about 4" in width to facilitate easy transportation and packing for your safari, croquet match, or polo outing. These chairs are perfect for use indoors, by the pool, at the shore, or on the deck of your boat. CONDITION: these chairs are unused and packed in their original boxes. There may be exceptionally minor scuffs from storage wear. PROVENANCE: from the renowned collection of quality sporting arms from Lewis Drake together with inventory of Lewis Drake Associates. (02-23565-2/BF). $200-350.
