FERLACH WITH CASE. Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 566. The 27" shoe lump barrels are engraved with maker's name and address on narrow matted game rib. "Bohler Stahl" and logos are on tops. Barrel flats are stamped with 1950 Ferlach proofs and 2004 Birmingham re-proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Coin finished boxlock action with ornamental sideplates features automatic safety, cross bolt third fastener and double triggers. Action is engraved with near full coverage small sprays of scroll within geometric borders which surrounds game scenes. Three pheasant are on left lockplate and ducks on right. Trigger plate is engraved with calling auerhahn on a branch. Steel trigger guard is scroll engraved. Straight grip buttstock of lightly figured European walnut measures 14-1/2" over ribbed horn buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Stocks are lightly refinished and have many subsquent light marks and dings. Checkering moderately worn. Bores are bright and shiny. Action is tight. Mechanically good.
