WITH FACTORY HARD CASE & MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 357 Sig. S# AD25142. Bbl. 3 11/16". P226 semi-automatic pistol frame mfg. in Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn and imported / assembled by Sigarms. Left side of the slide is marked "SIG SAUER P229 STAINLESS" above Sigarms' mfg. information. Right side of the frame is marked with the S#, followed by the J.P. Sauer & Sohn logo, as well as "-SIGARMS INC. EXETER NH-/ FRAME P229 MADE IN GERMANY". Alloy frame exhibits a matte black finish, with the slide exhibiting a phosphate finish. Bbl. exhibits a blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece textured black synthetic Sig Sauer grips. Dovetailed white dot blade front sight and square notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: x2 12-rd. mags. x1 marked ".40/ .357", the other ".40". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory hard case with matching cardboard box. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes. Right side of frame exhibits areas of unusual texturing to the finish, with some spots appearing to be possibly bubbling. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the safety / decocking lever. Grips are excellent overall. Spare mag. shows mild wear and thinning, with some scattered spots of surface oxidation. Box shows some light exterior wear and staining, with a few tears at the end flaps. PROVENANCE: From the Lifetime Collection of Malcolm Zickler, Ret. USAF Lt. Col. (26-628/MLW). MODERN. $400-600.
