Cal. 20bore. NSN. 48" overall, 32" three stage barrel with worn markings which are no longer discernible, lock also has indiscernible partial makers mark. Furniture is all relief chased silver, stock has relief carved scrolls and floral design rear of barrel tang, around trigger guard, and ramrod thimble. CONDITION: good to very good overall, though missing its percussion conversion hammer; lock and barrel have smooth brown iron patina, high comb stock has hand worn patina with numerous cosmetic blemishes after 250 years. Silver butt plate, trigger guard, side plate, thumb plate, ramrod pipes, and half stock band show old silver polish in recessed areas with dark silver patina. Clear smooth bore, several dents in muzzle. PROVENANCE: Martin Lane Historic & Western Americana Lifetime Collection. (01-24588/JS). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
