SCOPE. Cal. 7X65R/20 Ga. 3". S# 14764. The 25-1/2" barrel set is fitted with full length matted rib, center portion is cut away forming front sight ramp. Rear portion is fitted with flip-up rear sight and claw scope bases. Top barrel is engraved with maker's name and address on right and retailer (Waffen Frakonia) on left. Barrel flats are stamped with 1967 Ferlach proofs. Coin finished side plated Blitz O/U action is fitted with automatic tang safety, double Kirsten locking system, bushed strikers, pin cocking indicators on sideplates and double triggers (front set). Action is engraved with sprays of shaded scroll as accent to near full coverage of game scenes. A large stag and herd of hinds run through cut-over woodlands on left side and a similar scene featuring roebuck is on right. Bottom of action depicts a calling auerhann on a branch. Maker's name is also on trigger plate. Blued trigger guard with scroll on bow has S# on tang. Engraved steel capped pistol grip buttstock made of a very fine piece of fiddle figured and well streaked European walnut measures 14-1/8" over checkered plastic buttplate. Stock features shadow line right hand cheekpiece and point pattern grip checkering. Matching slim one piece forend has Deeley release. Combo is fitted with Zeiss Diavari-D 1.5-6X rail scope with three post reticle in claw mounts, rear with windage. A basketweave leather sling is also present. MEASUREMENTS: Top 20 Ga. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: comes with 1-full box (20) of S&B 7x65R cartridges. CONDITION: very fine. Appears little used. Metal retaining essentially all original finish with coin finish darkened from congealed oil. There is a fair scattering of minor marks in wood finish. Bores are bright, sharp and shiny. Scope finish is also excellent. Optically clear. Power adjustment quite stiff. (24-5572/MGM). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
