Cal. 38 Long Colt. S# 13152. Bbl. 6". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Military-accepted 1st Model M&P revolver. Rear right of the frame has "K.S.M." inspector's marking. Matching numbers on the frame, bbl., cyl., & extractor. Blued finish with a case-colored trigger & hammer. Checkered hardwood grips are unnumbered but marked, with the right panel marked "KSM" and the left marked "JTT 1901." Lanyard ring is present on the bottom of the grip frame. CONDITION: grips show scattered dings, handling marks, and some gouges. Trigger & hammer show strong amounts of case color with some heavy operational wear and oxidation. Balance of metal retains 30% of its blue with overall fading to gray, some oxidation, and dings. Bore is bright with strong rifling but has some light pitting and, what appears to be, a light ring near the muzzle. PROVENANCE: from the lifelong collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (24-1100/MJC).
