Cal. 38 S&W. S# 52995. Bbl. 4". Round blade front sight. U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers on frame, bbl. latch & cyl. Perfected 38 Double Action revolver with both top break latch & frame cyl. release made between 1909-1920. Blued finish with case colored trigger & hammer. Checkered brown hard rubber grips with S&W monograms. Right grip panel appears to be stamped matching but the last digit is obscured by a flaked patch. CONDITION: grips show scattered light handling marks. Trigger & hammer retain nearly all their case colors with some light operational wear. Balance of metal retains 95% original blue with scattered edge & operational wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bright near excellent bore.
