REVOLVER. Cal. 32 S&W Long. S# 89013. Bbl. 3 1/4". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on frame, bbl., cyl., extractor, and right grip panel. A 32-Hand Ejector Model of 1903 2nd Change revolver. Mfg. 1906-1909. Blued finish with case-colored trigger and hammer. Frame and bbl. assembly have different shades of blue finish. Checkered hard rubber grips with S&W monograms. CONDITION: grips show worn checkering, scattered dings, and handling marks. Trigger and hammer have mostly faded to a silvery-gray with traces of case colors and scattered oxidation. Balance of metal retains 50% of an old reblue with scattered fading, oxidation, blued-over pitting, edge wear, dings, and areas turning gray. Action appears to function properly when hand-cycled. Bore has scattered oxidation and pitting but evident rifling. (24-5604/MJC). CURIO. $300-450.
