Cal. 22 LR. S# K230715. Bbl. 4" pinned. Ramped serrated blade front sight. Adjustable square notch rear sight. Matching numbers on grip frame, bbl., cyl., extractor & right grip panel. Five-screw K22 Masterpiece made in 1955. Blued finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered diamond center walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory letter that states the gun shipped with a 6" bbl. but otherwise confirms the configuration. The letter further states the gun was shipped to Padgett Brothers in Dallas in 1955. CONDITION: grips show a gouge at bottom front of left panel, some dings, scattered handling marks & flaking finish. Case colored trigger & hammer retain most of their case colors with some light oxidation & fading. Balance of metal retains 93% factory rework blue with some light oxidation on cyl. & scattered light edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good + bright bore.
