Cal. 22 Long. S# 11924. Bbl. 3". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on frame, cyl. & bbl. Extractor is mismatched. 2nd Model Ladysmith revolver made 1906-1910. Nickel finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Pearl grips. CONDITION: grips show a small crack at bottom of right panel, a couple light chips & some handling marks. Hammer & trigger retain strong traces of case colors with overall fading to gray & some oxidation staining. Balance of metal retains most of its original nickel with a few spots of oxidation, some operational wear, a few spots of flaking & some light dings. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore is mostly bright but shows scattered light pitting & some frosting. PROVENANCE: From the Lifelong Collection of George Staden S&W Member #3451. (25-72/MJC). CURIO. $1200-1800.
