Cal. 44 Spl. S# S127281. Bbl. 6 1/2", pinned. Patridge front sight. Adjustable square notch rear sight. Matching numbers on frame, bbl., cyl., and extractor. Mfg. 1954-1955. Blued finish with case-colored trigger and hammer. Unnumbered checkered walnut target grips with silver S&W medallions and without extractor cut. Inside the grip frame is a scratch number on the right side and a scratch-inscribed last name on the left side. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unnumbered but correct factory box in fair condition with screwdriver and cleaning rod. CONDITION: grips show a couple light chips, a few dings, and scattered handling marks. Trigger and hammer retain most of their case colors with some light oxidation specks and operational wear. Balance of metal retains 97% original blue, with some light edge and operational & handling wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Bright, near excellent bore. (24-5626/MJC).
