Cal. 38 Spl. S# 1J4062. Bbl. 3", pinned. Ramped, serrated blade front sight with added red paint. Fixed rear sight. Mfg. 1971-1972. Blued finish with case-colored trigger and hammer. Checkered walnut grips with stamped matching-numbered right panel and S&W medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching-numbered factory box with factory paperwork. CONDITION: grips have a dark appearance, with a few dings, scattered flaking, and handling marks. Trigger and hammer retain strong amounts of case colors with fading and scattered light oxidation. Balance of metal retains 70% original blue, with the backstrap being gray, further scattered fading, and edge and operational wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Very good, bright bore.
