Cal. 38 Spl. S# 13J446. Bbl. 3", unpinned and matching-numbered to frame. Ramped, serrated blade front sight; fixed rear sight. Mfg. 1977. Barrel is most likely replaced due to an added matching number and lack of pin. Blued finish with case-colored trigger and hammer. Aftermarket replacement checkered hardwood grips. CONDITION: grips show scattered handling marks and some staining. Trigger and hammer retain strong amounts of their case colors, with overall fading, operational wear, and some oxidation staining. Balance of metal retains 70% of its blue, with a cleaned pitting area on the cyl., scattered oxidation spots, and flaking. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Very good, bright bore. PROVENANCE: from the lifelong collection of Bill Peterken. (24-6244/MJC). MODERN $250-350.
