Cal. 38 Spl. S# L8283. Bbl. 2" pinned. Ramped serrated blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. 1974 production Model 40 "Centennial" Revolver with grip safety. Blued finish with case colored trigger. Smooth hardwood grips with matching numbered right panel & silver S&W medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching numbered factory grips with manual, cleaning kit & diamond center checkered grips that are numbered to a different gun. A factory letter that states the gun shipped with a 3" bbl. to H&H Sporting Goods in Amarillo, TX in 1974 is also included. CONDITION: grips show some flaking varnish & handling marks. Trigger retains most of their case colors with some operational wear. Balance of metal retains 98% factory blue with some edge wear, light scratches & handling marks.
