WITH CASE. Cal. 41 Mag. S# N606663. Bbl. 5 7/8". Model 57 double action revolver mfg. by Smith & Wesson circa. 1979-1980. Left side of the bbl. is marked "SMITH & WESSON", with the cal. designation marked on the right. Right side of frame is marked with the S&W trademark logo, followed by S&W's mfg. information. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the trigger and hammer, which exhibit a case color hardened finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece S&W medallion checkered wood grips. Red ramped front sight, with adj. square notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: wood display case containing a takedown tool and cleaning rod. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as cleaned areas of pitting on either side of the muzzle. Trigger and hammer retain strong case color hardening. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good to excellent overall. Case shows some light exterior wear from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-5637/MLW). MODERN. $800-1,200.
