Stainless w/ flash chromed hammer & grooved face trigger. Matching numbered checkered walnut rnd. butt Magna grips. Personal side arm of 1st Lieutenant William L. Sullivan, Infantry Unit Commander in 101st Airborne, who was killed in action. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: near excellent 2 piece blue box w/ 3-67 manual & cleaning rod/brush. Numerous papers documenting return of his personal effects to next of kin along w/ personal 10 May 70 dated letter in Military postage free envelope to Dr. Robert Ayres of Lincoln NE. 10 Dec 69 bill of sale to Sullivan & note from Sullivan's widow giving revolver to Bob (Ayres). Tremendous history & documentation from Vietnam era & famous 101st Airborne. CONDITION: very faint cyl. turn line & minimal firing residue on face of cyl. plus near breech end of bbl.; all other aspects near excellent including bore & grips.
