COMMEMORATIVE 1933-1983 REVOLVER. 1 OF 1012 MANUFACTURED. Cal. 357 Mag. S# ABY2563. Bbl. 4". Mfg. 1983. 1 of 1012 manufactured. A special BATF 50th year commemorative version of the Model 66-2. Stainless steel 357 Combat Magnum. 3 screw, square butt, K frame. Serrated red ramp front sight w/ white outline adjustable micrometer click rear sight. Smooth trigger. Checkered.375" semi target hammer. Non counterbored, fluted cylinder w/ "F" stamped on face. Large S&W trademark logo on left side. 10 groove serrated front strap & backstrap. Left side frame stamped; "BATF 0515" below cylinder. Right sideplate has .880" Department of the Treasury, US "Special Agent" logo. Right side of barrel marked; "1933 ATF COMMEMORATIVE 1983". Smooth hardwood Goncalo Alves target grips w/ gold S&W medallions. 1 grip marked inside "NOV 1982". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Engraved, hardwood presentation case w/ fitted blue velour interior & Gold colored BATF badge w/ belt clip. CONDITION: Very nice condition as would be expected w/ a commemorative piece. Finish is nice and all markings clear. Grips are free of any noticeable blemishing. Cylinder & frame have very little sign of any use. Only a very light drag line on cylinder. Timing is correct. Display case exterior has a few light scratches, possibly from stacking or transport. Case interior is very nice. Gold badge is bright, appearing to have resided in the display case. Bright bore w/ strong rifling. (23-1552/JZ). MODERN. $800-1,200.
