REVOLVER. Cal. 22 Short RF. S# 10612. Bbl. 3 3/16" oct. w/ semi circular brass blade sight. Mfg. 1857-1860 (11,671 units) as 6th Type S# 5500-11500. Silver plated brass frame & blued bbl. Matching assembly # 3J on frame, bbl., & unfluted 7 rd. cyl. Both rosewood grips matching numbered. Spur trigger, checkered spur hammer w/ pivoting top & spring metal cyl. stop at top of frame. Upward pivoting bbl. CONDITION: good to very good appearance w/ minimal plating loss showing around trigger & frame pivot. Peppery oxidation & light pitting on bbl. Even light pitting about patina toned cyl. Very good appearing grips w/ light wear at butt plus long crack on back of left. Bbl. latch missing spring & not captive. Fair pitted bore. Weak non functioning cyl. stop. (01-20279/NW). ANTIQUE. $600-900.
