Cal. 32 RF. S# 7493. Bbl. 6". Round brass blade front sight. The top of the bbl. bears the marking "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS." Cyl. has a last patent date of Dec. 18, 1860. Cyl. and bbl. have matching assembly numbers. Smooth hardwood grips with a stamp-matching numbered right panel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: period right-hand leather holster in fair condition. An article by Robert Sands on Kittredge retailed revolvers that lists this gun by serial number. CONDITION: grips show an older finish with some chips, dings, and handling marks. Metal is mostly a dull gray patina with a deep scratch on the cyl., scattered pitting, oxidation, and some dings. The bore shows scattered pitting but evident rifling.
