Cal. 44 S&W. S# 18402. Bbl. 6 1/2". Blade front sight. U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers on frame, cyl. & bbl. latch. Back of grip frame has added provision for shoulder stock which has rendered most of serial illegible. Second Model American No. 3 revolver made 1872-1874. Nickel finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Unnumbered checkered hardwood diamond center grips with mismatch numbered right panel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a single 44 Cal. Lip Fire cartridge. CONDITION: grips show some dings & handling wear. Metal retains 60% nickel with pitting patches under grips, scattered flaking, fading to gray & oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
