Cal. 44 Mag. S# S169049. Bbl. 4" pinned. Ramped serrated blade front sight with red insert. Adjustable square notch rear sight with white outline. Matching numbers on grip frame, bbl., cyl. & extractor. 1957 made five-screw Pre-29 revolver. Factory renickel finish with case colored target hammer & trigger. Unnumbered diamond center checkered hardwood target grips with silver S&W medallions. Grip frame has boxed "R-N" renickel marking. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory letter that states this gun shipped with a blued finish & Goncalo Alves target grips. The letter does confirm bbl. length, hammer, trigger & sight configuration & state it shipped to Texas Sporting Goods Co. in Houston in 1957. CONDITION: grips show some handling marks. Hammer & trigger retain most of their case colors with some operational wear & light oxidation. Balance of metal retains most of its factory renickel with some light scratches, handling marks & oxidation staining under grips. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bright very good bore.
