APERTURE SIGHT AND BAG. Standard issue w/ 25" bbl. is marked w/ royal crown over "GR", BSA CO.", 1914", "SMLE" & "III" on right side of stock socket. A Centoral receiver sight is affixed to left side. This sight was made in Australia & examples are fairly scarce. Base uses existing holes for mounting. Buttstock has brass disc marked "O.TC", "FTS", "145". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: green painted tin box for sight contains original safety retainer and short screw for trigger guard. Canvas carrying case marked "J. & A.H. 1944". CONDITION: very good as refinished. Metal parts retaining nearly all of a reblue. Stocks with light overall refinishing have some subsequent marks. Fine bore with some slight throat erosion. Mechanically good. Sight is very fine, base appears to be retemper blued. Box has new green paint over original red lacquer.
